USCG Approved Life Rafts Complying With SOLAS Regulations

We sell USCG approved life rafts which meet SOLAS requirements manufactured by Zodiac. Most models can be equipped with either a "SOLAS A" or "SOLAS B" equipment pack. Zodiac offers their rafts in a flat container in addition to the standard round containers on their six through sixteen person sizes. Additionally Zodiac's flat containers can be mounted in the traditional flat manner, or on their side or end.

The other option is the Zodiac "Extrem" series which comes only with a SOLAS A pack in six to sixteen person capacities. This series of life rafts are vacuum packed which allows them to use a smaller sized container than a traditionally packed raft. We have found the Extrem series popular on larger yachts where a class society requires the carriage of a SOLAS grade life raft but looks and the use of deck space are extremely important.
