USCG Approved Coastal Service Life Rafts

USCG approved Coastal Service life rafts are designed for use on documented commercial fishing vessels operating within 20 miles of the coast. They can also be used on any commercial fishing vessel required to carry a life float or inflatable buoyant apparatus.

We also find that this type of life raft works well on many recreational vessels. One gets the quality and price advantage of a commercial life raft without the large container size dictated by the SOLAS grade equipment packs. You will still need an abandon ship bag, but that would be a necessity with any non-approved life raft anyway.
